Very Berry Porridge

55g rolled oats (or use quinoa/buckwheat flakes)
Water as desired 25g vanilla protein powder Sprinkle of cinnamon and pinch grated nutmeg
1 tbsp almond flakes
3 tbsp frozen mixed berries (*allow to defrost overnight)
Place the oats in a bowl and cover with water, allow to soak overnight. Place the oats and water in a pan over a low heat and cook until the porridge reaches desired consistency.
Remove from the heat and stir in the protein powder.
If necessary add more water or milk. Place in serving jar or bowl and top with the frozen berries and their juices. Sprinkle with almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon.
